The Wee Pub
Garden gnomes stare at patrons from behind the bar at this watering hole opening later this week in Hell’s Kitchen. Owners John Dempsey (Vynl, El Centro) and Tom Murphy (Latitude, Social) have outfitted the place with elevated banquettes so that patrons themselves feel a bit wee—your feet barely reach the ground. Draft beers are poured into extra-large mugs, too. 751 Ninth Ave at 51st St (212-707-8489).
