As a self-admitted Deadspin nerd, I was saddened to learn when the brother of one of the other commenters was killed in Iraq earlier this year. The Deadspin crew came together and donated over $6000 to buy gifts and supplies for his platoon in his memory. Now the jerks at PayPal are withholding the funds for a 180 day suspension as part of one of their policies. I don't know any of these people personally, but it's a community nonetheless that tried to do something good for a family who just suffered a tragedy. Sadly, thats on hold until the folks at PayPal get their heads out of their a**es. I sure as heck didn't give money to see it sit there earning money for PayPal.
UPDATE: Mess with the bull, you get the horns.
(yes i'm from colorado and it's stock show time. DEAL.)
